Organize with Scissors?
Mom! Where's the scissors?
So where are they? How
many times this week did you open a package with your teeth? Or pull so hard on that plastic price tag tie that you
were sure you were ripping a hole in your new gloves? Why didn't you go for the scissors?
I love scissors!
I own at least 7 pair and could use a few more. They make my life easier and more efficient.
Here's how I use
mine:
Pair #1: Kitchen drawer: Food prep and Food packaging (dishwasher safe)
Pair #2: Junk drawer: Located where
your family is most active
Pair #3: Desk drawer: Where you might expect to find a pair of scissors
Pair #4: Night
stand: A small pair for removing clothing tags and strings
Pair #5: Sewing Box: For sewing ONLY! (I heard you Mom...NO
PAPER!)
Pair #6 &7: Gift Wrap Boxes: All Occasion and Christmas
Where would I like more scissors?
#8:
Garage: scissors are so much better than ripping that grass seed bag open with a screwdriver
#9: Laundry room:
So the string from the socks doesn't tie up the whole washload into one big knot
#10: Recliner: Where I read the
newspaper...coupons, articles...can't figure out how to pull this one off safely and neatly. Guess I need to move
to the other room!
There you have it. Ten reasons to have 10 pairs of scissors. My Philosophy: Being organized
is not about clear plastic tubs with labels... it's a way of life.
